The founders and partners of FC|HOTELS CHILE combine a wealth of international experience and knowledge in all relevant financial, conceptual design and managerial aspects of launching Chile’s leading hotel product of the future.
RENÉ SILBERSTEIN H.
A Chilean with one of the best educations in industrial sciences, he graduated from the Universidad de Tecnica del Estado, Santiago, as Chemical Engineer and continued his studies overseas in the KIN Lebensmittelinstitut, Neumuenster Germany, with diploma.

He set the foundations of one of the leading Latin-American foodstuff companies as General Manager of the agricultural industrial company WASIL S.A., where he was working for more than 25 years.
His second career started with graduating in Corporate Finance from the renowned University Adolfo Ibañez in Chile. Today he is advising and directing various national family enterprises like the Hubergroup Chile, Raya Diseno, Aerosol S.A. and Murinter S.A. As an associate, board member and investor in the schools and colleges Alcantara and Alicante, and the Real Estate Group Hogares, he is also instrumental to the professionalism, growth and profitability of these businesses.
As director and partner in FC|HOTELS CHILE, his profound knowledge and experience in project management, company administration and corporate finance from a management and a board level, will substantially contribute to the planned new hotel projects.
CHRISTIAN R. FIEDERER
A German national with several decades of connections to Chile and a hotel & restaurant family background, he was trained in hotel management in privately owned hotels in Berlin, Germany.
His international career started with Lufthansa’s Penta Hotels and was followed by 10 years with Radisson SAS Hotels, responsible for sales & marketing of a large convention hotel in Hamburg and for the integration of new hotels. In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, he opened the first resort hotel of his group in the Middle East, and continued with projects in Abu Dhabi, Jordan, Egypt and Kuwait as Regional Director.

The successful launch of a 2000 bed resort in Germany together with TUI and golf operator PGA marked his return to Europe. He then took over the central revenue responsibility for Central and Northern European sales & marketing for the French-European luxury chain Le Méridien.
The recent position as Vice President of Worldhotels, heading the European, Middle East and Africa division of this global hotel group with over 500 hotels and special business focus for Latin American hotels, was crowned by double digit revenue and profit growth over five consecutive years.
As managing director and partner in FC|HOTELS CHILE, his international sales, marketing and distribution expertise and substantial personal investment contribute to the planned new hotel projects.
SAMUEL STERN
Born in Santiago de Chile and educated at the Instituto Nacional, he started his hotel career in the 1970’s at the front desk of one of the signature hotels of its time in Santiago Centro, the private Hotel Conquistador.
A top-of-his-class degree from the International Hotel School Tegernsee-Bad Wiessee in Bavaria, Germany, marked the beginning of an impressive international management career. Several operational positions with Hilton International in Berlin, Frankfurt and Montreal rounded his expertise in rooms division and sales. As executive manager in private hotels in Hamburg and Berlin he managed the turn-around and established profitable food & beverage and banqueting operations.
The international assignments with prestigious Shangri-la hotels in Beijing, and an upscale US hotel brand in Dresden, Germany, then Baku, Azerbaijan, and Paris, France, added very successful hotel openings to his professional experience as general manager. He is currently managing a luxury hotel for a leading international hotel company in a Central European capital.
FC|HOTELS CHILE is shaping the future hotel products and perfecting their operational structures and delivery based on his international expert consultancy and advisory role in operations and design.
